My Story
From Fire to Faith
Faith has always been part of my life. My mom made sure we were in church every Sunday growing up, and those early seeds stayed with me. But everything shifted after I lost a good job. The kind of job you think you’ll retire from. What followed was silence, depression, and doubt. I started wondering if prayers were really heard.
That question led me to something unexpected: the stories of Magnus, Akio, and Amadeus. Warrior angels. Fighters in the unseen realm. Characters who battle for us when we can’t see the fight ourselves.
The Firehouse and the Fight Within
I’m a full-time firefighter, and I’ve had the honor of working with some of the bravest men out there. We’ve had multi-fire days where exhaustion, pain, and smoke hit hard, but those days shaped me. They taught me that courage isn’t about being fearless. It’s about showing up when you’re tired, when you’re hurting, and still giving your all. That grit is in every story I write. The brotherhood, the pain, the purpose. It’s all real, and I hope readers feel that when they step into my worlds.
Why I Write
Movies like Gladiator, The Last Samurai, and Clash of the Titans left a mark on me growing up. They reminded me that even in brokenness, honor and sacrifice still matter. Writing became my way of carrying that feeling forward.
As Caleb Forge, I create stories where faith meets action, where warriors rise, and where hope still shines. My goal isn’t perfection, it’s purpose. And if one person finds encouragement or renewal in their faith through these stories, then the mission is fulfilled.
